Over a period of about six years, I also regularly translated French historical materials (including chronicles, archives, parts of books, and correspondence for historian Mary Margaret McAllen for work on her book Maximilian and Carlota : Europe's Last Empire in Mexico. I worked as a reviewer of the Thai edition of National Geographic Magazine during its start-up year.
